Cameron Naasz

American Cameron Naasz grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota, and attended Saint Cloud State University to graduate in public relations. His mother owned a skate park and at the young age of five, Naasz started playing hockey.

He continued playing at a competitive level and ended up playing for Junior Gold Hockey, which was for skaters that didn't make their high school team, and winning the 2008 state championship. For the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship stop in Saint Paul in 2012, Cameron said he was a little hesitant at first since but did a good time trial run and hasn't looked back since.

No one will ever be able to take away the feeling of being the first American to win an event, as he did in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2013. In 2015 Cameron took 2nd position in the Ice Cross Downhill World Championships.
